About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Retail Sales Associate in Saint Peters, MO. In this role, you will welcome showroom visitors, identify their furniture needs, provide interior design consultation, and guide guests through financing options to furnish their homes.

Key Responsibilities (Showroom Sales & Consultation):

• Welcome showroom guests, listen attentively to their decor needs, and guide them through our collections.
• Provide expert advice on furniture styles, upholstery materials, dimensions, and mattress technologies.
• Assist shoppers with consumer credit applications, flexible payment plans, and product protection programs.
• Accurately prepare sales quotes, process orders through the POS system, and complete transaction paperwork.
• Follow up with clients regarding order status, delivery scheduling, and post-purchase satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities (Store Operations):

• Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets, closing ratios, and average ticket goals.
• Partner with visual merchandising teams to keep the showroom floor clean, staged, and inviting.
• Assist with daily store opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and inventory audits.
• Address guest questions with professionalism, delivering superior customer experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
