Job summary

EZCORP is hiring Retail Sales Associates / Retail Customer Service in Pasadena, TX. Start as a Trainee in our 5-week paid training program and earn a $.50 raise, with promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion.

You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and work to provide a friendly, efficient service while earning competitive pay and a structured career path toward leadership roles within our stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Knowledge of pawned items is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you can expect as a Retail Customer Service Representative* (Pawnbroker)*: This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our Customer Service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Customer Service Duties

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
• Processing sales, loans, and extensions
• Performing opening and closing store duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
