EZCORP is seeking Team Members for EZPAWN in Houston to provide outstanding customer service and drive sales and pawn transactions in a fast-paced retail setting.

Starting as a Trainee with a 5-week paid training program, you can advance to Pawnbroker and beyond. Competitive pay based on experience, with bonus potential and benefits such as health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items is a plus.

Responsibilities

What you can expect as a Retail Customer Service Representative* (Pawnbroker)*:

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
• Processing sales, loans, and extensions
• Performing opening and closing store duties

Requirements for the Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well independently and as member of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
• Sales background, a plus
• Bilingual, a plus
