Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Langhorne, PA is seeking a full-time Retail Associate. You will drive sales of AAA memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals while assisting members with travel planning and bookings.

You will also handle roadside call overflow and may back up cashiering and related services as needed, contributing to a high-energy retail team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and programs efficiently.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Basic geography knowledge is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; screenings will be conducted.

• Consistently up-sell and cross-sell AAA products such as memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, packages, maps, and triptiks.
• Answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volumes.
• Serve as backup in Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.

Compensation

The starting base compensation for this position is $17.18 to $21.97 hourly. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive pay, with an average payout of $162.00 - $389.00 per month.

Work Hours & Location

Store hours from Monday to Friday, 8AM to 6PM, and Saturday, 8AM to 5PM; 37.5 Hour Work Week No Sundays!

Full-Time Retail Associates can accrue up to three weeks of paid time off during your first year.

Responsibilities

• Consistently up-sell and cross-sell AAA products such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
• Answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak call volumes, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Serve as backup by assisting in the functions of Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.

Qualifications

• Required previous sales and customer service experience, with an ability to drive results and exceed expectations.
• Showcase effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
• Navigate multiple websites and programs with ease, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Basic geography knowledge is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.
• This may include the ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
