Job summary

IKEA Hicksville, NY is seeking a permanent, full-time Sales Associate to help customers choose the best home furnishing solutions. You will assist customers, guide purchases and keep the sales floor tidy, priced, and fully stocked to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Youll act as a product expert and consultant, introducing top-selling items and new display products. The role requires 2-3 years in retail, a high school diploma, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in retail sales, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
• Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-time

BENEFITS ELIGIBLE?: Yes

HOURS – 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open working availability throughout the week Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 9:00AM to 10:30PM.

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $19.91 - $28.12
