Job summary

Dufry Careers in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service, process a high volume of transactions quickly, and help customers choose merchandise.

You will handle cash and POS procedures, maintain displays according to guidelines, stock shelves, and participate in inventory counts, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Executes POS opening/closing procedures in line with corporate policy.

• Ensures customers receive receipts on purchases and communicates merchandise needs to supervisors.
• Contributes to display and presentation efforts, including stocking/replenishing merchandise and following visual merchandising guidelines.
• Participates in physical inventory counts as required.

Responsibilities

• The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent service to all customers through direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service; completing each transaction in a quick and efficient manner, minimizing delays to the customer; developing thorough knowledge of all merchandise carried in the store(s) and offering selection guidance to customers; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Lead Retail Sales Associate or the Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager.
