Job summary

AAA Mid-Atlantic in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to help members plan adventures, answer questions, and promote memberships and services. You will assist with travel planning, handle roadside support calls, and support cashiering and ID services as needed.

The role offers an hourly wage of $18.82–$24.07, plus a monthly incentive of $162–$389, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 37.5-hour work week and no late nights or Sundays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills - you can build trust and explain value clearly.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.

Responsibilities

• Promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day.
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Associate
