Job summary

Household Furniture, El Paso’s largest and oldest family-owned furniture store, is hiring Retail Sales Associates. The company has proudly served the community since 1945 and offers paid training to set up new hires for success.

You will join a high-energy team focused on helping customers find furniture, mattresses, and accessories with financing options. Employees enjoy strong earning potential, with paid training, performance bonuses, retirement benefits, PTO and holiday pay, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail POS systems.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find furniture, mattresses, and accessories.
• Explain product features, benefits, and financing options.
• Guide customers through purchases and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep the showroom neat, organized, and inviting.
• Collaborate with team to deliver a high-energy, friendly service experience.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive, "can-do" attitude
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience a plus - but not required
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
