iPull-uPull Auto Parts in Fresno, CA is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to help customers find auto parts and process sales. You will greet customers and assist with questions, contributing to a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires reliability and a willingness to learn parts identification, with potential for overtime and career growth. Compensation starts at $17 per hour with benefits and room for increases.

Winter Hours: 9:00-5:30 pm - Weekends required *

Job Summary

As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll work directly with customers to help them find the auto parts they need. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with the public and thrives in an environment centered around cars and customer support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they enter the store
• Answer customer questions / provide customer support to assist with meeting customer auto part needs
• Assist with ringing and completing the sale at the store
• Work as a team towards housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list (This can include cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors, etc.)
• Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management.
• Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Friendly positive attitude / you enjoy working with customers
• Able to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to work and reliability to arrive on time and work a consistent schedule
• Ability to learn automotive parts identification in order to recognize parts and how they relate to our customer purchases.
• Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to get a little dirty sometimes.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Bilingual Spanish (desired, not required).
• Previous experience in a retail environment (desired, not required).
• Must be able to pass a 30day trial period

Job Conditions

• Exposure to outdoors / weather conditions for times when you must go outside into the yard.
• Regular sitting, standing, bending and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties
