EZCORP is seeking Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Members to lead the way in a fast-paced pawnbroker environment in Birmingham, AL. Begin as a Trainee in our paid training program and progress through certifications with merit-based pay increases and promotion opportunities.

You will help customers with pawn items (jewelry, electronics, instruments, and more), process transactions, and maintain excellent service standards in a team-oriented store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; multitask well.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with sales in-store.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.

Here’s what you can expect as a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker): This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Other Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker): duties include, but are not limited to: Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone Processing sales, loans, and extensions Performing opening and closing store duties

Requirements for the Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) role include: As a member of our customer service team you must be self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic. Excelling at customer service and relationship building will take you far in your career with EZCORP.
