Job summary

MPI is a well-established commercial general contractor seeking a Superintendent to lead Walmart and Sam's Club remodels across North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The role focuses on safe site operations, quality control, and schedule performance.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and travel frequently; typical assignments last about three months. A Walmart certification is highly preferred, and night shifts may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Superintendent with Walmart/Sam's Club/Publix project experience.
• Background in retail remodels or ground-up construction.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the Southeast.
• Able to work night shifts when required.
• Walmart certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Walmart and Sam's Club remodel projects across NC, SC, and TN.
• Lead daily site operations, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet client standards, budgets, and deadlines.
• Travel between project locations with typical assignments lasting 3 months.
