Job Family Group: Retail Banking Sales & Service

Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interests of customers. Works collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.

Additional Requirements: This position will act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the S.A.F.E. Act. Requires Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. A criminal background review and credit history evaluation will be required, along with restrictions on performing in a real estate agent capacity.

  • Proactively engages with existing customers and prospects, providing needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
  • Engages customers to complete needs assessments, recommending tailored solutions including banking, investments, lending, and small business solutions.
  • Advises clients on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance convenience.
  • Supports customer transactions based on traffic and needs.
  • Builds new relationships within the community through outreach and appointments.
  • Addresses questions and resolves issues to ensure compliance and accurate data entry.
  • Applies risk management to protect assets and maintain portfolio quality.
  • Makes credit recommendations in line with sound principles and bank policies.
  • Acts as a collaborative team member within the branch and market.
  • Probes customer needs and integrates marketing into conversations.
  • Organizes work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contributes to improving the customer experience and branch results.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services and digital tools.
  • Customer service or sales experience with a focus on personal customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary: $41,715.00 - $63,700.00
