Job Family Group: Retail Banking Sales & Service

Bilingual in Spanish and English or Punjabi and English is preferred.

Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing advice on financial solutions that serve their best interests. Collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners to enhance customer experience and meet business goals.

Note: This U.S. position involves acting as an originator of consumer loans, requiring registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and compliance with relevant regulations and laws. A background check and credit review are also required.

  1. Proactively engage with customers and prospects to assess needs, grow loyalty, and identify opportunities.
  2. Conduct needs assessments, recommend tailored financial solutions, and promote digital banking options.
  3. Support customer transactions and foster new relationships within the community.
  4. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including risk management and credit recommendations.
  5. Participate as a collaborative team member, contributing to the branch's success and customer satisfaction.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Identify and report suspicious activities related to money laundering.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Relevant licensing and qualifications for lending and investment sales.
  • Knowledge of personal and small business banking needs and solutions.
  • Experience in financial services, customer service, or sales is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, social media, and online applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary: $41,715.00 - $67,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried, with potential bonuses and benefits. Salary varies based on location, skills, and experience. Part-time roles are pro-rated.
