Job summary

Walmart seeks a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair our refrigeration HVAC assets in our Antioch store. You will use commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA refrigerant handling certification, valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma or equivalent. Join a team focused on service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive repair work orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
