Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Production Associate to support efficient store operations by preparing donated Softline and Hardline merchandise.

You will sort, price, and produce items to meet quota-driven targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role focuses on accurate production workflows, backroom readiness, and timely merchandising for the sales floor, aligned with Goodwill’s mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail and/or production environments preferred.
• Ability to follow established production processes with consistency.
• Strong attention to detail for sorting and pricing merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately sort, tag, price, and prepare donated Softline and Hardline merchandise.
• Meet productivity quotas while maintaining quality as a priority.
• Use pricing tools or POS systems for consistent pricing.
• Prepare merchandise to be shop-ready and ensure proper presentation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas.
• Support opening/closing routines and backroom operations.
• Coordinate with production, backroom, and sales floor as directed.
