Job summary

Sullivan Tire is seeking a Retail Production Manager to oversee the production workflow at a Worcester-area store, drive profitability, and deliver top-tier customer service. You will lead automotive technicians, improve efficiencies, and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating repairs, and training teammates to achieve high performance while maintaining quality and timely service. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 3-5 years of industry/retail experience.
• 4-8 ASE certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Assist in diagnosis and repairs of difficult vehicles and train staff accordingly.

• Deliver quality work on time to help grow sales and profits and respond to questions promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment and comply with procedures to protect assets.
• Maintain all store equipment and vehicles and adhere to safety rules at all times.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.

Description

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking a Retail Production Manager. This position manages the production workflow of assigned store location to ensure optimal performance levels and profitability are achieved while delivering the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction. Works closely with management to increase profitability through improved efficiencies and productivity levels. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for managing the production workflow of the assigned store location to ensure that profitability, productivity, and customer goals are achieved.
2. Use informational tools and software systems to maintain an efficient workflow for automotive technicians.
3. Assists in diagnosis and repairs of difficult vehicles and uses it to further train and develop staff.
4. Assists Store Manager with recruiting, training, motivating, developing, and retaining qualified employees and have individuals working at high performing levels delivering quality service and customer satisfaction.
5. Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers to ensure long term growth in sales and profits. Respond to all questions, problems, and requests in an attentive, helpful and timely manner.
6. Maintain a safe and clean store environment. Follow all operation procedures to protect our assets (i.e. OSHA rules, hazardous waste, wearing safety glasses, and filing timely paperwork).
7. Maintain all store equipment and vehicles and adhere to all safety rules and regulations at all times.
8. Assume other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of high school diploma
• 3-5 years of industry/retail experience
• Has 4-8 ASE certifications
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong customer service skills in a retail environment
• Demonstrated staff leadership, management and mentoring skills
• Solid conflict resolution skills
• Advance understanding of automotive tire and auto service industry
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
• Strong time management skills
• Working knowledge of VAST, Microsoft Office, and our internal software applications
