Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager in Grand Prairie, TX to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer experience, merchandising and talent development.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates, collaborate with the GM to execute store strategy, and deliver a best-in-class experience to customers. Includes flexible scheduling and cross-channel responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Metrics-driven to meet business goals.
• Capable of coaching and mentoring others.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around store floor.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and team to deliver brand experience.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and uphold SOPs.
• Represent Gap and analyze the competitive retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel initiatives.
• Ensure compliance standards are met and safety procedures followed.
