Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an analyst to support the Retail Planning and Inventory team in New York. The role includes managing daily planning tasks, preparing sales forecasts, and performing inventory optimization tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years in retail planning, a Bachelor’s degree, and skills in Microsoft Excel, with advanced competencies in retail math. Previous experience with Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of merchandise or retail planning experience with direct open-to-buy experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Forecast short- and long-term sales by product and monitor execution of buys.
• Manage auto-replenishment SKUs and model stock for inventory optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on forecasts and data accuracy.
