Role Overview

An established consumer goods company is seeking a strategic and analytical Retail Planner to support inventory management, sales forecasting, and merchandise planning. This role involves working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions, optimize inventory, and support ongoing business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate weekly reports on inventory status, sales performance, and budget vs. actual vs. projections
• Track and analyze inventory levels and product movement
• Support initiatives to optimize product flow and costing strategies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on a variety of cross-functional projects
• Use Excel extensively to analyze data, build forecasts, and support decision-making
  
  

Preferred Qualifications Of The Retail Planner

• Strong Excel proficiency required
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and data interpretation
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in retail, inventory management, or merchandise planning
