Job summary

VENU+ is seeking a Retail Photo Lead in Memphis to help manage photo operations, greet customers, and support the sales process. You will model best practices with the Retail Photo Host team and partner with photo management to deliver an outstanding buying experience.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to close gaps between operations and customer service. Weekend, holiday, and evening shifts may be required, with opportunities for growth within a

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months retail management experience with strong customer focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient with Windows, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Retail Photo Host to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Assist photo management with operations, including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Handle deposits and maintain merchandising standards per policies.
• Engage customers to solve problems and support sales.
• Maintain location appearance and assist with inventory as needed.

In this role you will have the opportunity to model best practices with our team of Retail Photo Host to ensure outstanding customer service and work alongside our photo management team to plan and execute development/business plans.ResponsibilitiesCreate an outstanding buying experience for the customer by executing floor leadershipGreet all customers in a professional, friendly, and timely mannerCoach and develop Retail Photo Host in both proper photo capture techniques and sales, including lighting and positioningLead and work alongside the Retail Photo Host team to problem solve customer concernsWork with photo management in opening, closing and operating the photo retail locations, including but not limited to cash handling and deposits as governed by operations control standardsComplete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and proceduresAssist with inventory counts as needed and maintain location appearance adhering to merchandising standardsAssist with all functions within a photo location in compliance with VENU+ policies and proceduresAssist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by managementRequirementsHigh school diploma/GED and at least 6 months of experience in retail management with strong customer focus backgroundExcellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skillsAbility to lead, motivate/mentor, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive wayProfessional, energetic and positive attitudeStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze results, make good decisions, and take responsibilityWorking knowledge of PC Windows applications (Excel and Word)Flexible scheduling availability; reliable transportationAbility to work evening (closing) and morning (opening) shifts, weekends, and holidays
