Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions into the computer and prepare labels for pharmacist review.
• Answer calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Inspect medications for outdates and maintain Pyxis stations quarterly.
• Prepare IVs and chemotherapeutic intravenous medications as requested.
• Package drugs in unit dose packaging and update records.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and manage controlled substances.
