Job summary

Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician for the Ashland location. The role offers part-time hours with shifts from 2pm–7pm or 3pm–7pm, with up to 25 hours per week and at least one Saturday per month (two preferred). Starting pay is $17/hr, with potential bumps as you gain pharmacy experience.

Sundays are closed. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and be able to work well in a team or independently, with attention to detail and excellent

Qualifications

• Customer service experience within the last six years.
• Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

NO PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone who has consistent customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required to be considered for the position.

We are looking for someone who:

• has availability to work 2pm-7pm or 3pm-7pm shifts
• can work up to 15-25 hours per week, including at least one Saturday a month (two preferred) from 9am-2pm
• works hard as part of a team or by themselves
• has great attention to detail
• is friendly
• can meet expectations for excellent customer service
• can adapt to changes in facility needs
• has a minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years, with two or more years preferred
• has strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• has strong organizational skills

Pay Rate:

Starting at $17/hr, with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy experience.

*Currently we are looking for an employee who is available to work evenings until 7:00 at least 2 nights a week and can also work 2 Saturdays a month.*
