Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older as verified by a valid driver's license.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions of a Pharmacy Clerk, operating a cash register and scanning terminal.
• Keep inventory of current medications and process orders for new medication shipments.
• Fills and documents medication orders, prepares, labels, and documents IV products under the direct clinical supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and associates.
• Prepares and delivers medications to units via manual or automated dispensing machines.
• Initiates telephone calls, receives/screens/routes incoming questions and calls.

Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with Saturday rotation.
