Job summary

Perham Health in Perham, MN is seeking a part-time Retail Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include clerical tasks, answering phones, filing prescriptions, managing records, processing third-party claims, and assisting with financial statements as needed. We offer training toward certification and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
• Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license/certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• We are willing to train the right candidate and support certification efforts.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties to support the Pharmacist and ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy.
• Answers telephone and assists customers.
• Files and handles prescriptions and pharmacy records in compliance with the law.
• Processes and reconciles third-party claims; balances bank statements and prepares monthly/quarterly/yearly reports.
• Reports discrepancies to the Director of Pharmacy to maintain integrity of the pharmacy.
