Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescriptions while complying with federal, state, and organizational regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications to promote safe patient care.
• Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and communicate with insurers to support timely fulfillment.
• Provide outstanding customer service at prescription pickup, answer general questions, and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain medication inventory, monitor expiration dates, and help identify potential dispensing errors.

As our Retail Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate pharmacy care to our patients. Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you'll help ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Every day you will support pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, assisting with medication preparation, managing insurance claims, and providing exceptional service to patients.
