Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CPhT or ExCPT within 18 months of start date.
• No work experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and screen calls for routing.
• Participate in pharmacy procurement, inventory control, and outdate checking.
• Document medication admission histories and data entry into the pharmacy system.
• Perform nonsterile compounding per USP standards where applicable.
• Assist in sterile IV admixture as defined at the entity level.
• Ensure adherence to storage policies across medication storage areas.
