Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. You will interact with patients at service points, promote clinical services, and ensure accurate dispensing and insurance processing.

You will retrieve medications, stock shelves, complete paperwork, maintain confidentiality, and uphold a clean, professional environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Registered and/or licensed to practice in the state.
• Experience in Retail/Community Pharmacy helpful.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients at service points of contact.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Retrieving medications from inventory.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly pharmacy and professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
