Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a diligent pharmacist to serve customers in our community pharmacy. You will input prescriptions, process insurance claims, label medications, and ensure accurate dispensing with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include inventory management, maintaining a clean, professional environment, and collaboration with healthcare teams while protecting patient confidentiality. State licensure is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered/licensed as required in the practice state.
• Experience in Retail/Community Pharmacy is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points of contact.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information in the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and stock shelves.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
