Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacy associate to support patient care, input prescriptions, and manage stock in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will retrieve medications, create labels, adjudicate insurance claims, handle paperwork, and promote pharmacy services while maintaining confidentiality and a professional appearance. The role emphasizes strong customer service, accuracy, organization, and teamwork, with attention to workload prioritization and daily operations in the pharmacy

Qualifications

• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• High School/GED or state equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
