Express Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk for our retail pharmacy. You will handle front-end tasks, assist customers, process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, and help ensure accurate transactions.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, dependable cash handling, and organized records. You must be detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and support daily operations. A welcoming attitude and reliability are essential.

Aufgaben

• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening and/or closing.
• Greet customers, answer calls, and field patient questions with a positive attitude.
• Collect payment and insurance information.
• Close and count down registers, and deposit money at the end of day.
• Keep front end shelves organized and clean, along with the rest of the pharmacy.
• Make regular OTC inventory checks and order merchandise.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Move, lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Frequent repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as grasping, gripping and turning.
• Stand and/or walk frequently throughout work shift.
• Visually locate merchandise and other objects, as well as verify information, often in small print.
