Job summary

Allina Health in Apple Valley, MN is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role in our community pharmacy. You will review medications, counsel patients, and oversee drug distribution to ensure safe, effective and cost-efficient medication use.

You'll work an 8-hour day/evening shift (1.0 FTE) with every 4th weekend rotation, and participate in quality assurance, audits and staff coaching. MN licenses required upon hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• 0 to 2 years of identified pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medications and monitors prescriptions for safety and cost efficiency.
• Provides clinical/information services to patients and medical staff.
• Counsels patients on new medications and refills.
• Completes controlled substance audits as directed.
