Job summary

Ingles Markets, Inc. is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, and support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, immunization administration, teamwork with technicians and store leadership, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with an active license and CPR certification are required; Immunizer certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Certified Immunizer and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with regulations.
• Counsel patients on medications and proper use.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations per regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team and store leadership.
• Support daily workflow and ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain patient records and required documentation.
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering.
• Address patient questions professionally.
• Maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training of pharmacy technicians and staff.
