Job summary

Ingles Markets, Inc. is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and support daily pharmacy operations in our Ingles Markets Pharmacy.

You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with a dedicated pharmacy team to deliver outstanding service. The role requires current pharmacist licensure, PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and immunizer certification.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Provide patients with clear and professional medication counseling.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and promote efficient, high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required pharmacy documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and control of pharmacy supplies.
• Address patient questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of pharmacy technicians and other team members as needed.
