Job summary
Ingles Markets is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service and accurate dispensing of prescriptions in a retail setting. You will lead pharmacy staff in the Pharmacist-in-Charge's absence, administer immunizations, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
The role requires a Pharm. D or B.S. in Pharmacy, state licensure, and CPR certification; retail experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree, required.
- Related Pharmacist work experience, and previous retail work experience a plus.
- Licensed Pharmacist, registered through state board of Pharmacy.
- Certified Immunizer and valid CPR certificate.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and communicate with patients.
- Administer immunizations and vaccines.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers in absence of Pharmacist-in-Charge.
- Order stock and train staff on technology and equipment.
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
- Complete daily and weekly paperwork.
