Job summary
Ingles Markets is seeking a Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service while dispensing prescriptions and maintaining regulatory standards. The role includes immunizations, staff supervision in the absence of the Pharmacist-in-Charge, and daily operations management.
The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, is a licensed pharmacist, and is certified to immunize. Retail pharmacy experience is a plus, and strong customer service skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
- Licensed Pharmacist, registered with state board of Pharmacy.
- Certified Immunizer and CPR certification required.
- Retail pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
- Advise customers and provide product information as needed.
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and communicate with patients.
- Provide immunizations and vaccines per regulations.
- Direct pharmacy staff when Pharmacist-in-Charge is absent.
- Order stock and manage daily operations.
- Train staff on technology and equipment as needed.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
