Job summary

HealthCare Support Staffing, LLC is actively seeking a Pharmacist to join a leading pharmacy in Nicholasville, KY. You will fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and provide patient counseling to support medication adherence.

You will collaborate with the PIC to establish scheduling and ensure excellent service. Weekday hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with weekend coverage 9:00 AM–6:00 PM on Saturdays and 10:00 AM–5:00 PM on Sundays.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
Current pharmacist licensure in good standing required.
1 year of retail experience preferred.
Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing) preferred.

Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics.
Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence.
Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors.
Work with the PIC to establish schedule.
Weekdays - Open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Weekends - Open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 - 5 on Sundays.
