Job summary

Rx Relief is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to join our Louisville, KY team. This role offers flexible scheduling with options for full-time, PRN, or temp-to-hire arrangements, and includes weekly direct deposit pay.

Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use, administering vaccines, and supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient daily workflow while upholding HIPAA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Kentucky Pharmacist License.
• Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Active Immunization and CPR/BLS certifications.
• 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with retail pharmacy systems (PioneerRx, QS/1, RX30).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and verify prescription orders for safety and accuracy.
• Counsel patients on prescription usage, side effects, and OTC products.
• Administer required vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, Shingles, etc.).
• Oversee pharmacy techs and clerks to ensure effective daily workflow.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance, state/federal regulations, and inventory control.
