Qualifications

• Active and good standing Pharmacist license in Kentucky.
• 1+ years of pharmacist experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, clarify, and verify new and refill medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Accurately prepare and perform final verification of medication orders prior to dispensing.
• Ensure timely and accurate dispensing and delivery of medications to patients or facilities.
• Maintain current knowledge of medications and regulations related to long-term care, institutional, and retail pharmacy.
• Provide clinical support and medication therapy recommendations to promote safe patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure quality pharmaceutical care.
