• Review and process investigational orders following protocol and policies.
• Perform non-sterile compounding per guidelines.
• Provide patient counseling and medication management.
• Complete inpatient Medication Reconciliation at admission and discharge.
• Coordinate services with MSK departments and external sites.
• Maintain perpetual inventory of drugs, including narcotics and investigational agents.
• Assist with research study monitor visits and pharmacy inspections.

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our Retail and Medication Reconciliation team at David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, located on East 74th Street.

Role Overview

• Review and process take-home prescriptions in the Epic Willow Ambulatory system as per MSK policy and state regulations
• Review and process investigational orders following corresponding protocol and institutional policies
• Perform non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous compounding as per guidelines and procedures
• Provide patient counseling and medication management
• Complete inpatient Medication Reconciliation upon admission and discharge
• Coordinate services with all MSK departments of patient care (including nursing, medical teams, discharge planning, outpatient clinic, pain service, Investigational Drug Service, patient financial service, and International Center).
• Coordinate services with main campus, offsite pharmacies, and regional sites
• Perform, maintain, and reconcile accurate perpetual inventory, including commercial, investigational agents, and narcotics
• Assist with research study monitor visits
• Assist with pharmacy inspections and audits
• Assist with copay collection using POS system
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• NY State Pharmacy license
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist, retail with hospital experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must

Hours

• Monday-Friday between 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday-Sunday 8 am to 4 pm, rotating schedules
• Full-time 37.5 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage will be required
• Hours may change based on clinic needs

Pay Range

$58.46 - $93.54
