Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I in Michigan to kick off a career path through a 9-week onboarding program, with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. This role focuses on using consultative sales to identify and meet customer financial needs while handling teller transactions.

You will work to acquire new households and deepen relationships, while collaborating with partners across Mortgage, Small Business, and Commercial areas to provide holistic financial

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and cross-sell.
• Must understand advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
• Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in communication.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to identify financial needs and build customer profiles.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with partners and refer customers for holistic solutions.
