The position emphasizes consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs and to deepen relationships while handling teller transactions.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferable skills or a combination of education and experience.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform sales activities to acquire new households and cross-sell to existing customers.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information using advanced math functions.
• Represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in appearance and communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to apply good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and services and recommend solutions.
• Reach out to customers using CAMP and other tools to schedule financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners when appropriate.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals; contribute to revenue growth.
• Guide CSRs on the sales and referral process; protect customer confidentiality.
