Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and motor-vehicle parts sales at our Front Royal, VA store. You will help customers with parts lookup, battery testing, wiper installations, and other DIY services while meeting sales and service goals.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of automotive systems, and proficiency with store systems. Weekend availability and ASE-ready certification are a plus; this is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Able to read and interpret parts catalogs.
• High-energy in sales and customer service.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Key holder duties: open/close, safety, task assignments.
• Assist in store inventory, cycle counts and stock replenishment.

The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
