Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert automotive knowledge and exceptional DIY customer service in our Midlothian store.

You will handle advanced parts identification, sourcing, and basic diagnostic services while supporting inventory and store operations. The role requires strong communication, POS proficiency, and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive retail and customer service is required.
• Ability to source parts and use store inventory systems.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required; valid driver’s license needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals while delivering service objectives.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance, safety, and open/close duties as a key holder.
• Support inventory operations including cycle counts and stocking.

The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
