Job summary

New Balance in Merrifield, VA is seeking a part-time Retail Team Lead to support opening/closing duties, drive results, and coach team members to deliver a world-class guest experience.

You will lead by example through New Balance’s core competencies, assist with scheduling, and help recruit top talent while maintaining operational standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

As part of the New Balance Retail Leadership Team, Part time Retail Team Leads assist with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results, operational duties and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
• Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)

Mosaic District, VA Retail Only Pay Range: $19.75 - $24.65 - $29.60 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
