Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You'll engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

In this role, you will actively connect with customers, recommend products and services, and help us create a vibrant sales culture. You will support store operations, maintain visual standards, and contribute to customer satisfaction, aligning with Office Depot's 5C values: Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. Training in technology and print products/services will be provided to ensure effective customer assistance.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience:
   • Proactively acknowledge and engage every customer.
   • Promote sales of solutions and additional products/services.
   • Stay informed about promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations:
   • Maintain store and print department appearance according to guidelines.
   • Follow signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation standards.
   • Manage freight, inventory, and stock organization.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   • Develop product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques:
   • Adhere to company policies and support loss prevention.
   • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and good interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Ability to read, count, and write for documentation and inventory.
