Bally’s Intralot, in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Retail Optimization Specialist to turn data into actionable insights for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s 2,000+ retailer network.

You will partner with the Sales Director to develop retailer strategies, build reports on performance, and drive data-driven decisions using Excel, SQL/SQLite, Tableau, AI analytics, and modern workflow tools. A strong communicator with 3+ years of applicable experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in retail optimization, data analysis, or commercial strategy.
• Proficient in Excel and SQL/SQLite; experience with BI platforms like Tableau.
• Experience with AI-driven analytics and modern workflow tools to boost speed.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to influence leadership.
• U.S. employment eligibility and ability to pass background check.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trend analysis and insights to improve ASL retail network performance.
• Define retailer strategies with senior leadership alignment.

Retail Optimization Specialist

Position Overview

The Retail Optimization Specialist is a strategic role based within the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL). This position is designed to turn data into insight and insight into business decisions by performing advanced business analysis. You will act as a key advisor to the Sales Director, providing the data-driven "why" behind retail execution and continuous improvement of the 2,000+ retailer network

Your mission is to inspire retailer behavior change and drive commercial output by leveraging modern technology, including AI-driven insights and sophisticated workflow management.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work directly with the State Sales Director to provide trend analysis and insights that improve the performance of the retail network.
• Build and define comprehensive retailer strategies, collaborating with Director-level positions to align on long-term commercial goals.
• Create and maintain reports that review retailer, game, and geographical performance to spot opportunities for the ASL sales team.
• Identify opportunities and build robust business plans for "sell-in" and approval; lead the executional strategy to deliver desired outputs.
• Support a State Run field team consisting of 1 Sales Director, 3 Regional Sales Managers (RSM), and 20 Marketing Sales Representatives (MSR) by providing actionable data for their territories.
• Serve as a bridge between the Lottery and the AR Bally’s Intralot site team, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on goals, objectives, and touchpoints.
• Run, Filter and clean data to ensure all strategic recommendations are based on accurate, high-quality information.

Education, Training, And Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in retail optimization, data analysis, or commercial strategy.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and SQL/SQLite for querying databases.
  • Proficiency with modern BI platforms (e.g., Tableau) and familiarity with cloud-based data structures.
  • Experience with AI-driven analytics and modern workflow management tools to increase operational velocity.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and foster a collaborative partnership with the lottery.
• Retail Optimization Specialist Must possess valid documentation for U.S. employment eligibility.
• Must pass a thorough pre-employment background check by Bally’s Intralot and required State Lotteries.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
