Job summary

Nippon Sanso MATHESON seeks a Manager, Retail Operations in Waverly, NE to design templates and implement a strategic plan standardizing retail showrooms, procedures, and new hire training. This role creates detailed procedures per category to ensure adherence and ongoing improvement.

Key duties include standardizing display and promotion formats, optimizing inventory controls, supporting promotions, and driving KPI initiatives to grow walk-in traffic and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 5–10 years related experience and/or training preferably in site/branch operations and/or package gas operations in the industrial gas industry; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a standardized Nippon Sanso display gondola, wall units, counter and partner with a preferred supplier.
• Develop a standardized Matheson Select section for promotion of Matheson Select Products.
• Develop and implement a bin location plan for better control of SKU's.
• Support specific vendor or internal Nippon Sanso retail promotions.
• Support the internal Nippon Sanso Welding Essential List and determine market preferences are being met.
• Drives the implementation of Nippon Sanso purchasing and inventory management guidelines and requirements.
• Provide and implement ideas to promote site dead stock.
• Develop a quick reference guide for safety, IT, credit card processing, accounts payable, and TIMs helpdesk for new hires.
