Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support store operations and improve the customer shopping experience. You will handle inventory, shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and merchandising to planograms while ensuring efficient store processes.

Candidates should be comfortable in a loud retail setting, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, and available for weekends, holidays, and evenings as part of a dynamic team dedicated to music and customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory control tasks and ensure accurate stock data.
• Ship and receive gear and other items as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Stock and merchandise according to planograms.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Manage cash handling and monitor shrink risks.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
