Job summary

Emerging Blue, Inc. in Los Angeles is hiring a hands-on Manager of Retail Operations to align the corporate office with store teams and drive daily operations.

You will own clienteling, inventory control, SOP rollout, and omnichannel fulfillment while supporting budgets, staffing, and store openings. Occasional travel to stores and events is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7+ years of retail experience including store and corporate exposure.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, inventory, clienteling/CRM, KPIs and budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track store sales, KPIs, and goals; manage weekly recaps and reporting.
• Lead day-to-day clienteling and CRM execution; maintain engagement standards.
• Roll out SOPs and the Retail Operations Manual; standardize tools across stores.
• Oversee in-store experience including events, maintenance and brand standards.
• Support inventory accuracy and omnichannel fulfillment (BOPIS, ship-from-store, transfers).
• Track expenses against budget; assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and drive recruiting and onboarding.
• Assist with real estate, oversee timelines and budgets for new openings and relocations.

Our client is searching for a hands‑on, highly organized Manager of Retail Operations to partner with our Sr. Director of Retail Operations and serve as the key link between our corporate office and store teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Track store sales, KPIs, and performance goals, and manage weekly recaps and flash reporting.
• Lead day‑to‑day clienteling and CRM execution, holding store teams accountable to client engagement standards.
• Maintain and roll out SOPs, the Retail Operations Manual, and retail tools to keep operations consistent across stores.
• Oversee the in‑store experience, including events, maintenance, supplies, and brand standards.
• Support inventory accuracy and omnichannel fulfillment (BOPIS, ship‑from‑store, transfers), partnering with Buying & Planning.
• Track store expenses against budget and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor staffing and scheduling, and support recruiting, onboarding, and training.
• Assist with real estate exploration, oversee timelines and budgets for New Store Openings, and drive operational readiness (including recruitment) for new store openings, pop‑ups, and relocations.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5–7+ years of retail experience, ideally in contemporary, luxury, or fashion, including retail store and corporate experience.
• Must have demonstrated strong knowledge of store operations, inventory, clienteling/CRM, retail KPIs, and budgets.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must be highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong project management and communication skills.
• Must be a proactive, hands‑on collaborator comfortable working between corporate and store teams.
• Must be able to travel on a regular basis to stores, events, and new openings, with the rest of time based at our Los Angeles corporate office.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$115,00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
