Job summary

The TJ Maxx store in Bessemer, AL is seeking a retail Associate with leadership experience to support receiving, merchandising, and customer service tasks. You will help ensure efficient store operations, train teammates, and maintain organized backrooms and stock flow.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to keep store organized.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and assist customers.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise processing.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Maintain tagging, hanging, and coding of merchandise.
• Communicate with Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods to floor.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain back stock organization for replenishment.
